You do NOT need to submit your web site to 1,000s of search engines. It's not necessary and can actually hurt your SEO efforts because you could be flagged for spamming and therefore be blacklisted.
We manually submit
your site to Google, Yahoo, MSN and a couple of other big players and that's it. We also submit your web site to DMOZ as a little incentive to help the Bots!
The reason we submit your site to so FEW search engines is simply because Google, Yahoo, MSN, Alexa, AllTheWeb, AltaVista are the search engines that bring the majority of visitors to your web site. Most of the other, (smaller) search engines base their results on Google anyway, because Google feeds their search engine results!
At GoogledByGoogle, we continually update our knowledge base and adjust our strategies to ensure successful SEarch engine optimization of your web site based on ever-changing algorithms which Google and the gang continually make more complicated :-(
What might be a SEO rule last week can easily be changed or revamped in such a way that your SEO PageRank can be dramatically changed (for the worse) this week.
Don't worry though: we devote an excruciating amount of time watching the search engines whilst they're watching you!
